Product overview
The planetary drive is an ideal driving and braking unit specially designed for aerial work platforms, scissor trucks, spider cars and various wheel-driven mobile equipment.Its core features include:
The multi-stage planetary reduction mechanism reduces the high speed of the motor or motor and greatly increases the output torque to meet the traction requirements of the vehicle under conditions such as climbing hills, overcoming obstacles, and heavy-load translation;
When the equipment is parked, the internal brake can reliably lock the output shaft to prevent the platform from sliding or shifting on sloping ground;
In the event of an emergency, the braking system can quickly respond and decelerate to ensure the safety of the entire machine on slopes, slippery roads and under heavy load conditions. This compact wheel reducer integrates driving, deceleration and braking. It has a compact structure and efficient transmission. It is a key component to improve the safety and controllability of wheel vehicles.

Product features
Three-stage planetary reduction, large speed ratio and high torque:
The walking reducer adopts a three-stage planetary gear reduction structure as a whole, with a total speed ratio of up to 151 and a maximum output torque of 18000N·m. The planetary gear trains at all levels adopt optimized tooth profile design to maintain the optimal tooth surface contact state. Even under continuous high torque and high load output, the transmission is still stable, the noise is low, and the wear is small. This feature makes the heavy-duty wheel reducer especially suitable for aerial platforms operating on large slopes and heavy-duty transport vehicles.
Structural optimization and maintenance greatly simplified:
Traditional walking reducer requires maintenance about once every six months, and due to the complex internal structure and difficulty in disassembly and assembly, maintenance takes a long time. Our high-power-density wheel reducer has optimized the internal layout. The key cooperation between the ring gear and the housing, the planet carrier and the output shaft are all modular designs, and the interfaces of the rear end cover, bearing seat and other parts are standardized. There is no need to disassemble the whole machine during maintenance. You only need to remove the rear end cover to replace the brake friction pad or planetary wheel assembly. The maintenance time is shortened by more than 50%, effectively reducing customer downtime losses and maintenance costs.

High-quality bearings + reinforced gears, long life:
The main bearing uses a tapered roller bearing with high load-bearing capacity, which can bear radial load and axial thrust at the same time and adapt to the eccentric load condition of the high-altitude platform in an inclined state. The planet gear, sun gear and ring gear are all made of high-quality alloy steel carburized and quenched, and the core has good toughness. After gear modification and optimization, the contact spots are even and the anti-fatigue life is significantly extended.

Application scenarios and selection support
Compact Planetary drive is mainly used in:
Scissor/articulated arm aerial work platform
Spider aerial work vehicle (narrow body, four-wheel independent drive)
Electric wheel-driven AGV and unmanned guided vehicle
Wheel drives for small wheeled excavators and skid steer loaders
When selecting, you need to provide the motor/motor interface size, rated torque, maximum vehicle load and maximum gradeability. Our technical team can assist in calculating the required speed ratio and braking torque, and recommend the most suitable high power density Planetary drive model. For non-standard interfaces, the adapter flange and input shaft can be quickly customized.
Manufacturing and quality assurance
The Planetary drive is assembled on a dedicated assembly line. Key processes include online measurement of bearing preload force, real-time monitoring of bolt torque, and air tightness testing. All products undergo loading bench testing before leaving the factory. The testing includes transmission efficiency, temperature rise, noise and brake static and dynamic performance. The inspection data is automatically uploaded to the quality database to form an "electronic file" for each product, enabling full life cycle traceability.

Professional technical services
The company has a technical support team that can provide customers with selection calculations, interface matching and installation guidance for heavy-duty walking reducer. For the first batch of supporting new models, prototype bench testing and vehicle actual testing support can be provided. Installation instructions, seals and wearing parts list are provided with the box when shipped to facilitate on-site maintenance by customers. Whether it is batch matching for OEMs or replacement repairs for end users, we can provide quick response and professional services.
